Liverpool is a great friendly city I know because I was born there. Plenty of restaurants and bars with live music,(check for updates of where and when)
Buses and taxis are great.
There are also fashion shops throughout.
The waterfront area of the Royal Albert Dock is well worth a visit, not forgetting a visit to Mathew St where the Cavern Club is located.

This Hotel has so many plus points: It had very reasonable room rates, Free car parking, is situated on the Dockside a relatively short walk to Liverpool City Centre without hills to traverse. The Hotel was immaculately clean and our beds comfortable. The staff were uniformly friendly and the cooked breakfasts excellent as was the service at the Bar. In our opinion, it deserved to be rated with 5 star hotels.
For us, Hope Street Hotel remains the best city centre hotel in Liverpool. Only a 5 min walk down the hill into heart of the town centre, the hotel has that luxury vibe to it. Staff are always super helpful too. The rooms are simple, modern and high quality, Amazing beds, and the bath and shower room was superb too. We had a 4th floor room this time with great views across the city centre.
Property was clean and smelt lovely in lobby. Beds were really comfy and great facilities in room like iron and ironing board. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Receptionist was really helpful and advised us about getting the bus as a best option to visit Anfield. Location of hotel was super for Liverpool one and the docks area. Parking was 2 minutes away. A great stay thank you!
The hotel is very quirky, very clean the staff are very friendly and nothing is a bother to them. The breakfast is wonderful and if your not into a full Irish there are plenty more choices. The bar is also very good. Will definitely return. Location close to the Docks, Liverpool one and Liverpool City centre all within walking distance.
Great service, lovely clean room, fantastic breakfast, friendly approachable hotel team. Love this hotel 😊 good central location to the docks and the city centre amenities.
