This is a nice family styled hotel located in an excellent location. The staff is extremely well trained and really nice. Special mention to Ricardo (Reception) and Douglas (Breakfast service) for being really welcoming and nice. The sea-view room we had, the complimentary fruit platter and the staff all contributed to a fantastic stay. I also particularly liked the WhatsApp service to complain or make suggestions or requests. Guest service was really good.

The pool was uncrowded and comfortable, with staff frequently checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. My family stayed in non-renovated rooms, and unfortunately, the balcony did not have chairs. I noticed that other floors had been updated with new flooring and chairs on the balconies.
The beach was very relaxing and just a few steps from the pool. There were even natural pools where you could sit and enjoy the view. A few dining options were available nearby on the beach, along with some beach vendors. Mondays were quieter, while Sundays were the busiest.

Salvador historic city center is just amazing! I loved the experience and energy, but I somehow I felt not safe over there. I rented a car and I was afraid to drive around and wind up in a favela. Try avoid using Waze, for it try shortest ways while Google Maps looks for the most used way (which is more important to follow).

Lots to see especially in the historic parts of the city, people are very friendly. The food was good overall but the street food not so much.
We had excellent meals at A Porteira-Dique , Restaurante Veleiro and Coco Bambu.
Uber is the best form of transport.

Lovely hotel in really nice safe area of Salvador with good night life n restaurants beside some nice beaches. Set in beautiful old colonial building with a beautiful architect designed modern extension with lovely gardens and courtyard's and some lovely modern art.really excellent breakfast and very very helpful staff when we lost a phone and one of our party had to cut their trip short. An excellent choice, way better than Pellegrino.highly recommended and good value.
Functional hotel walking distance from pelhouriño, so very comfortable position. The receptionist was kind and welcoming, he spoke only Portuguese but we understood each other somehow.
Room was clean, bed comfortable and air conditioning worked fine!

Arriving at Bahiacafé Hotel tired, thirsty, hungry and late, I was pleasantly surprised to find a minibar with a great selection of snacks and drinks - the best I had seen. They even had a spa. Breakfast was great and staff was very kind and professional
