The hotel is in a great central location. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. It is on a busy street but there is soundproofing on all the windows which took care of the majority of the noise. Being able to sit out on the balcony at the end of the day with a lovely Mudgee wine was a welcome addition. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The cafe downstairs was a great added bonus.

Relaxing and peaceful country town that never gets old. Come for the wine and locally sourced food.
Taxi's are limited in such a small town so make use of a prebooked shuttle or bicycles if you are not planning to drive.
We had an amazing breakfast in town and went to a handful of the vineyards, overall a very pleasant trip - Gilberts Wine Bar, First Ridge and Logan Wines were all amazing. Don't miss the free cheese tasting next to Gilberts, the smoked cheddar is amazing!

Visit the wineries, visit the cheese shops, visit the breweries, the pubs are great atmosphere too. Soo many choices for coffee and breakfast. Short drives to Gulgong and Rylestone worth it too !! If you are coming from the north, stop at The Drip Gorge in the Goulborn National Park for an easy and inspiring bush walk 60mins. We will be back.

Mudgee was beautiful.
Mudgee was beautiful. Wineries were very busy (we were there for the long weekend) so bookings for wine tasting & lunches were essential. Chinese restaurant at Golf club was AWESOME!! Club Mudgee (RSL) has lovely food also and very reasonably priced. Didn't get to do a lot of shopping because lots of shops were closed on the long weekend. Bakery was also very good.

Mudgee is a beautiful country town that boasts excellent coffee, wine, and food. All attractions are close and there are also many smaller communities close buy to explore. The historic buildings are stunning and the locals are friendly and welcoming.
Away for the weekend with a group of friends. Very happy with the Parkview hotel even though I believe the price was rather high for country NSW. Could have had a Sydney Harbour hotel for cheaper. Location was great, can stroll into the shops and pubs. If you stay, try and get an upper room as you have direct access to the balcony. Great for pre dinner drinks and watching the world go by.
Nora's Place was in a quiet street a short drive from the town centre. It was very clean and comfortable. It was pet friendly but there was no sign of dogs ever staying there- no doggy smell or pet hair which was great. Everything was well labelled in the kitchen and we made great use of the coffee machine and complimentary pods. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Mudgee.
Lovely location....close enough to the Mudgee CBD to walk to the great restaurants and hotels. The gardens are very nice and the owner was very attentive and knowledgeable about great places to eat and drink. The cheese platter, bottle of wine and breakfast pack were all great. Highly recommend.
This is the best little secret in Mudgee. Pristine clean renovated cottage. Relaxing, spacious, fresh, modern, private, quiet, cosy and so many exceptional surprise inclusions for a self contained stay. 5 star quality.
A cosy little hideaway just outside Mudgee. Very clean, a wonderful slow combustion fire which we needed every night, so comfortable and it had everything you needed. A bonus was it was pet friendly.
