On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the host who took the time to show us around and give recommendations on fantastic beaches and restaurants.
We were given an early check-in, which was appreciated.
The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. It had a washing machine and a courtyard with a clothesline for quick drying. The balcony out the front was a nice additional space. Being October, it was lovely and quiet. We have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Stunning, beautiful family house with amazing views and everything you need and more. Large social front terrace to relax on and take in the views as well as pretty private rear garden with pool. Perfect location just a few minutes walk down into town which has everything you need including great bars and restaurants and a lovely vibe. There are also plenty of lovely beaches in the area and you can hire boats or book trips from the marina. We all said we would definitely come back - we only had 3 nights and didn’t want to leave!

I highly recommend staying at Vasilaki Apartments! Spacious, well-equipped(with kitchenette facilities, air-conditioning, TV, chests of drawers and a cupboard), clean, beautifully decorated, quiet, with strong WiFi, and very close to the port and restaurants; we had a lovely stay! Mrs Fani and George were so kind and hospitable, sharing with us all the information we needed prior to and upon our arrival. We'd love to come back!

A really pretty house and garden. It was very tasteful decorated and was comfortable. Korina was so nice and helpful giving us directions... Only pity staying there for one night!
Gorgeous little town, with just incredible views. We were there in October, ans despite two days of dull, slightly rainy weather, we found it very charming. Lots of little shops to explore - though some were very expensive, to be honest.
We had some great food here - the small restaurant on the seafront, La Familia - was our highlight. Really delicious traditional food. So good I'm going to have to try some of the recipes at home.
The boat tours had finished for the winter, but it was still possible to hire a boat, or even a boat with a skipper.
Vathi is easy to walk around, it's small and compact, and feels very friendly. I can't say that it would be wheelchair friendly, as a lot of the footpaths have cafe tables and chairs etc.

Vathy is a lovely town.
Vathy is a lovely town. Very large yachting contingent so a little bit more expensive than other places but not by much. Some amazing restaurants - Mills, Soddis and Batis were all favourites along the waterfront.

Vathi (or Vathy) is beautiful.
Vathi (or Vathy) is beautiful. Quiet during the day and a little more lively at night as it is an overnight stop for the various yachts (both big and small). The restaurants around the pretty harbour front are good, but venture into the small town and you'll find a fabulous selection. Our favourite was Poseidon.

Friendly town. Nice restuarants and shopping. Shops stay open until late during the tourist season. Very "walkable". Had a great seafood dinner at Batis on the waterfront. The pastitsio at La Familia is the best I have had.

I have travelled to Vathi and the rest of Ithaki quite a few times. I adore it. Its compact size belies its facilities and sights. Great restaurants too many good ones to single out, lovely beaches, fabulous village living. Wonderful, friendly, hospitable people. You can't go wrong.

Very traditional Greek island, especially the main town with lots of harbourside restaurants. For a small island there is plenty to see from the lovely sleepy villages to the quiet beaches. Definitely need a car to make the most of it loved going high up into the mountains very reasonably priced once there, lovely people.

The accommodation is basic but as advertised and perfectly comfortable. The location is just on the outskirts of Vathi but within easy walking distance. This is not luxury but it doesn't pretend to be. It is basic, comfortable accommodation at a fair price in an ideal location with the most spectacular view of the entrance the harbour.
Breakfast was lovely, there was plenty of variety and having breakfast by the pool was lovely. Staff were extremely helpful with recommendations of things to do and see and always greeted us with a smile. Location of the hotel was central to the square and the view from our room was superb.
Great hotel with a view, in a central but quiet location. The rooms are beautiful with good sized balconies and a really nice shower.
The staff is great too, everyone is so kind! We spent our anniversary there and we couldn't have made a better choice. Thank you!

I liked the location in the sense that it was no more than a 15-minute walk to the center of Vathi...The apartment had some facilities ,It was good for a short stay here.
