The apartment has everything you need in terms of amenities. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated being able to do a load of washing. The deck (although now covered with fake grass), was amazing. Aix was a bit of a rest stop for us. We enjoyed buying wine, cheese and fresh produce from the markets in town (you MUST go to Fromagerie Bedarrides) and reading our books with the view.
We enjoyed the walk from city centre. It was close enough to do multiple times a day. As long as you are reasonably fit and can handle a hill.

There is nothing to comment on that was acceptable. The photographs are misleading and for the amount paid over €200 any one would have expected not to be presented with the room that we were given.

In the first place, I liked the kindness of the landlord. The room has an independent entrance and it is nicely organised. The view is great.

Dominique is an exceptional hostess, friendly, helpful and charming. The house is full of character, and the suite is spacious and private. There is a large outdoor terrace overlooking the fountain in the garden. A good French breakfast is served on the terrace in fine weather. The house is in a quiet area, about a 15 minute drive from the lovely city of Aix.
The accommodation is very clean and the bed was comfortable. Some reviews have mentioned the bed not being long enough. We did not find that at all and I am 6 feet tall!
