The location is quite nice(we only stayed there one night). You have a pool, a restaurant so there is no need to leave the location if you want to relax. We booked 2 rooms, one didn't have air conditioning (and it was very hot) and we couldn't sleep with the door opened as there were a lot of mosquitoes.

Set in the hills above Verbania, Agriturismo Monterosso is a working farm from 1888. It produces its own meat, fruit and vegetables, which you can sample in the restaurant and buy to take home. The views were absolutely incredible. Having dinner while looking out at the lake was a unique experience. The food was good and the staff were really amazing.

With panoramic views of the Alps and Lake Maggiore, Agriturismo Da Attilio offers a peaceful location and a traditional restaurant, a 25-minute drive from Cannobio. Beautiful place, with a nice view as it is 600m above the lake. Nice staff and good quality rooms! Perfect to start your hike to the surrounding peaks!

Located on a hill overlooking the Borromean Islands and Lake Maggiore, La Betulla offers rustic accommodation, free parking, and free Wi-Fi at the bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was fantastic. Rooms were equipped with nice furnitures. View was great from the hotel.
