The breakfast was above average but still not the greatest I've ever seen. Would love to see more fresh fruits.

Markham is a district developed a little north of Toronto, once a separate community but now built up all the way. It is a vibrant location with malls, entertainment, first class sport and medical facilities and good communication networks.

21st Century modern architecture, highrise suburban feel,...
21st Century modern architecture, highrise suburban feel, relatively quiet, with quite a bit of green space and remarkable clean air. We ate at the Hilton, but the many Asian restaurants in the immediate vicinity looked appealing. Easy to get around by bus and by car. I would want to have a car to make better use of my free time during the conference. Markham is too far from Toronto proper to visit the city without a car and not lose a lot of time. On the other hand, public transportation is excellent, safe, and economical.

It hosted the worst accomodation I've ever had to deal with.
It hosted the worst accomodation I've ever had to deal with. I've never been so uncomfortable. The hosts were so rude, even to the extent of sending text messages of hate for giving an honest review.

Mini fridge was "warm". Could not keep drinks cold.
Mini fridge was "warm". Could not keep drinks cold. Water pressure in shower was weak and unstable. Need to pay $10 extra for parking.
On the other hand, suite is spacious and clean. Staff are generally friendly.

My favourite place was the shopping malls and less than 2 mins work to the bus stop. There were various restaurants. So I eat at McDonald's and a Chinese restaurant. Yes, it was so easy to move around from the near bus stop is less than 2mins walks to less than 15mins walk to various shops in Markham.

Overall, it was fine.
Overall, it was fine. It fulfills the need for a comfortable place to stay. And the meal I had from the restaurant was tasty.
I didn't check out the pool and sauna, so I can't speak about those.
The room was comfortable but dated and the hallway leading to the rooms on my floor are very dimly lit.
The location seems off the beaten path, but it's close to the highway and quiet.
If your looking for a reasonably priced place to stay, and you don't have lofty expectations, this hotel will do you.

I had a wonderful stay at Extended Stays Home in Markham, Ontario. The cleanliness of the facilities was impressive, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The quiet surroundings added to the overall tranquility, and having a friendly roommate enhanced the experience. Highly recommend for a peaceful and welcoming extended stay!
There was a restaurant incorporated into the hotel which provided a continental breakfast; eggs, bacon, etc was $7 extra charge for each person per day or when you selected that. Location of hotel was in a good area of Markham , but it took an hour to reach downtown Toronto with horrific heavy traffic and traffic jams.
The hotel was very inviting, modernized. The pool & hot tub looked very nice, although I didn't have time to use it. The location was very nice too. Felt much safer in Markham than anywhere else in Toronto.
Outstanding room: it was really like an apartment. Very comfortable. Free breakfast was an added bonus. There are a couple of restaurants 20 paces from the hotel.
