This is an amazing property up in the mountains a few kilometres from Minca. You will need to get a driver with a 4x4 to take you the few km’s as it is a very rough and bumpy road. It is well worth it though, as the property has amazing views, hiking trails, a restaurant with great food (which we struggled with for a lot of our trip in Colombia) and it is very close to the Marinka Waterfalls.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Everything!! The Hotel is beautiful, quiet and has the most amazing view. But the best thing about the hotel are the owners, Laura and her mother. They treat you instantly like family and this is why we had the best time. The rooms are beautiful, the beds very comfortable and the breakfast simply amazing. Everyday it changes and has an the most personal touch. Its just a 5min walk to the beach and even closers to restaurants and shops. We left the space with a broken heart, it felt like leaving family. We will be back soon!
The wifi was great here and able to cope with video calls. The kitchen stove worked really well, probably the best stove we have used in Colombia so far. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfy so we had good sleeps here. They took our very stinky laundry and did a great job cleaning it for a reasonable price. The place was located a little out of the central area which meant it was nice and quiet, we never felt unsafe walking around either. Overall happy with our stay here.

Hostess was really kind and helpful. Kept our bags while we went to Tayrona for a night, let us shower when we came back, and arranged our boat trip and airport taxis.

The moment I got in the house, I felt like home!! Luis and the wife are both super nice and friendly, I loved spending few days in the house!! The house is super clean, beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and you are 10 mins walking from the beach, so it’s very quiet. Also the terrace has a great view and close by you have a mini market if you need anything on the run. Highly recommend this place and hope to get back one day! Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality, the world needs more places like this!!!
Comfortable beds, good AC though the owner will ask you to not use it too much during the day even though I barely used it at night. Good breakfast but not included in the price and only till 9 am though she did twice give it to me at 10 when I asked. She called me a taxi when I left. Really quiet area but if you have the room downstairs with the window to the inner courtyard you'll be woken up by the owner and cleaner and other guests so I'd recommend trying to get the room upstairs as that was really quiet and private.

The house is really beautiful, it's a peaceful place! Beautiful people too, with a lot of attention for their guests and a lot of love for their animals. Don't come if you don't like cats and dogs, it's a place for animal lovers. Bed is very comfortable, Myriam can also cook if you request it in advance, and it's excellent. Quiet at night as it's not in the village but still very close to go on foot.
