The complimentary breakfast was a beautiful suprise, the cottage was immaculate, left us wanting for absolutely nothing. From the coffee to the little extra's in the pantry was so useful and didn't mean another run down to the store. I would highly recommend the cottage, it's central location to everything and everywhere we were planninng to be over the weekend

We loved how this cottage backed onto the river, was surrounded by trees and just beautiful views in every direction. Super cosy, we played games by the fire in the evenings, was everything we were after in a winter's getaway.

Very comfortable king sized bed, spa bath and fireplace made our stay very enjoyable . Check in was easy with fire wood waiting and plunger coffee provided .

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night and the night following. It was the perfect, romantic, luxe stay we had desired following our wedding celebrations. Clean, cosy, relaxing, with a roaring gas fire, a locally sourced breakfast hamper which we used for both mornings, and a beautiful vantage over Wandiligong, we loved our stay at Bonnie's Cottage. My husband also really enjoyed the complimentary port. We look forward to staying here again in future. The ideal romantic getaway location!
The River Cottage reminded us of the movie The Holiday. So cosy, very clean, romantic and relaxing hearing the river sound at night. The owner Alistair was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely book for next year.
From the moment we walked into the cottage we loved everything about it. It was so cozy & warm and just so relaxing. The entire cottage was beautiful. Spacious yet lots of room to move around. Breakfast provisions were amazing. Fireplace was so warm & romantic.
The location was perfect as very close to the Bright township and to the walking trails along the Ovens river. The stone cottage was charming surrounded by beautiful gardens, very peaceful indeed. Very good space and facilities.
