Dating back to 1870, this elegant hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Trondheim Central Station. It provides luxury spa facilities and 4 restaurants. Wi-Fi is free. The hotel is in a great location, with many sights, restaurants, bars and shops close-by. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the mattresses are of medium hardness. The bathroom is spacious, the shower has great water pressure. The hotel has 3 onsite restaurants, I tried the brasserie which was good but there are also a number of other good restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. Don't miss the hotel spa, which has 5 different types of saunas a decent pool and a seawater hot tub, not too mention the great treatments, cosmetic products etc. Breakfast is amazing as well.

Very modern hotel with spacious family room and offering a delicious and varied breakfast. The sky bar is also very nice. Clean and beautifully decorated, the beds were very good and we rested well.

OPUS XVI on Edvard Griegin muistolle omistettu ylellinen hotelli, joka sijaitsee historiallisessa vuodelta 1876 peräisin olevassa rakennuksessa Bergenin keskustassa. The hotel was located right in the middle of Bergen, perfect and central to everything. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, opulent surroundings and nothing like this in New Zealand. It was historical and we loved it. The staff at reception were so helpful and friendly, they even helped take bags up to our room. Which as a very nice room - one of the few with a view over the harbour. We love the half day cruise up the fjord - well worth it.
