The hotel was centrally located. The room was clean. This was the first time for this type of hotel. It required self-check-in and out. It felt like an adult dormitory in a good way. Would definitely return.

They had a great selection of breakfast and the staff are both kind and very well-versed around the city of Oslo. Going to anywhere is very easy due to it being within 5min of the train station (for far travel) and being next to Karl Johan's street (for going to places within Oslo itself). This also works the other way; if you ever get lost in Oslo, just go to the train station or Karl Johan's street, and from there you'll easily find it.

Spreading for hundreds of miles from the mouth of the Oslofjord, Oslo is the largest city by area in Europe and is liberally covered in pristine forests rising up into the outlying hills. South of the unassuming city hall lies a vibrant waterfront known as Aker Brygge, which in summer is full of bustling outdoor restaurants and bars.
For the prettiest buildings head to affluent inner-city suburbs of Frogner and Fagerborg, or admire the traditional Scandinavian wooden houses of Bygdøy and Holmenkollen. Monumental buildings include the Royal Palace which runs daily tours and the Akershus Festning, which is a medieval castle that also served as a military base and provides impressive views of the Oslofjord. Oslo City Hall, or rådhus, offers even more distinctive architecture and it is the location of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.
Nature is never far away in Oslo which is ringed by an archipelago of islands which are extremely popular in summer. Hiking, kayaking and sailing are all easily achievable within the city limits. Just as popular are the many museums. The national Museum houses Edvard Munch’s famous painting The Scream and Viking Ship Museum containing long-lost relics from Norway’s Viking past.
From downtown Sentrum to the Oslo Airport Gardermoen to the stunning statues in Frogner Park, Booking.com has over 80 hotels and other accommodations available.
Oslo has a lot to offer for 2-4 days. There are many museums and historical sights and good public transit to more natural surroundings. The fjord location makes a variety of water sports close at hand.
Weather can be variable, so plan to be flexible and always have a raincoat.

Oslo is a beautiful city with warm and welcoming people.
Oslo is a beautiful city with warm and welcoming people. We got the Oslo Pass for 72 hours and used it for public transport and 8 museums. Very good value. The city is very walkable, but extremely expensive! Take the regular train from the airport...half the price of the express and only 4 minutes longer!

Oslo is a totally walkable, beautiful city with many interesting things to see. I am sad that I was there only 1 day. People are friendly, everyone seems to speak English, which is great as I speak other languages but not Norwegian. The City Hall is not to be missed. The Resistance Museum was interesting, too. Beautiful parks, squares and the Royal Palace which is visible from many places. I will go back!

Norway is a very beautiful country and its people are very helpful and friendly. My trip was 15 days, I visited Bergen, Voss, Flam, Stryn, Loen, Olden, Geiranger, Oslo.
The cities are very clean, the air is clear and the weather was great.
Oslo is characterized by many beautiful tourist attractions .
The fun thing is that you can walk to them because they are close to each other.
I will visit Norway again and I recommend visiting it.

Oslo is a very clean, friendly and relaxed capital with many interesting museums and sights. It is bite-size for touring ion foot and has a good public transportation system. The city has some beautiful neighborhoods, parks and buildings and the locals are very nice and welcoming.
Book the Deluxe Double Room. The location is perfect and very close to everything. The lounge is severely underrated and should be visited by all who stay here. The chef was brought in and is amazing. Small menu, tried everything and it was all 5 star. The rooms can be surprisingly small in this hotel. The Deluxe Double rooms are on the front corner of the hotel and have the most space (see my fire exit picture). It is worth every penny for this space and it has the best view.
Loved it!!! a really perfect small room with super duper competitive price and the flavour and smell of 5 star hotel!! really had nothing less in comparison to a 4-5 star hotel! super clean, super essential and focused on the real things: perfect quality of bed, so nice sleeping quality, so low noice levels, so clean bathroom, cosy decorations, super nice lights perfectly thought to help you relax. people its gives way more that you will expect!
I highly recommend Hotel Christiania Teater. It is very well located in the heart of the city. The rooms are comfortable, exceptionally clean and the beds are of a high quality. Breakfast is excellent. You surely feel more than welcome as the staff is especially nice and polite. Staying in Hotel Christiania theatre elevated my time in Oslo. It was worth every krona.
The hotel is in a quiet location near the city center, offering a peaceful atmosphere. I appreciated the provided reusable water bottles and the nice breakfast. The interior and room decor created a pleasant ambiance.
The hotel's location was highly advantageous, providing convenient access to the city centre. Its contemporary design and meticulous cleanliness contributed to an overall positive experience.
