Grecotel-LUXME Daphnila Bay Dassia, hotel in Dassia

Lux All-In Living: A luxurious, all-in, holiday concept opens up a world of endless choices on the most stunning waterfront location.

The beach area with grass and palm trees is lovely and a perfect bay to swim in with gorgeous views. The food was surprisingly good, very fresh and lots of choice. Staff was friendly and serviceable. The highlight was actually the dinner at the Corfiot village, do book that, not as cheesy as it sounds. Rooms are clean.

TRYP by Wyndham Corfu Dassia, hotel in Dassia

Featuring an outdoor pool, a kids' pool and a spa and wellness centre, TRYP by Wyndham Corfu Dassia is located in the centre of Dassia, just 100 metres from the beach.

Beautifully decorated hotel with high standard and thought put into the fixtures and fittings. Everything you could possibly want is catered for. Comfy bed, good air con, spacious bathroom, and a hotel that provides not just water glasses but Prosecco and Wine glasses is showing attention to detail and interest in your comfort. Could not find fault Also the hotel provides a lot of special personal touches. Like when you arrive you’re asked to sit down and enjoy a welcome drink on the house. A staff member then joins you and explains all the options while you’re sitting in a lovely relaxed vibe. Only after that do you go to desk to go through final check in but they’ve already done the hard work before then. Jack was assigned to me as the person I would go to for any assistance/ guidance during my stay. My original intention for my stay changed hugely as Jack gave me options I just would never have explored on my own. As a solo traveller I am grateful for that. I loved my stay. I didn’t get to spend much time at the hotel but that is not a reflection on the hotel more that Corfu is a beautiful place to explore and I tried to for a lot in. Also I am a coeliac and the Nokos and the staff in the restaurant were amazing to check in on me and make sure I was well looked after. I wish I could have stayed longer. In fact I tried to change my flights. 😀

Elea Beach Hotel, hotel in Dassia

Located in Dassia of Corfu, Elea Beach Hotel is a 4-star hotel boasting an outdoor salt-water pool with hydromassage facilities and a freshwater pool.

Excellent breakfast, lots of variety, friendly staff always ready to help. The only downside at breakfast was not having real 100% fruit juice available. The juices were sweetly flavoured drinks, not real juice.

Iolida Corfu Resort & Spa by Smile Hotels, hotel in Dassia

Iolida Corfu Resort & Spa by Smile Hotels is located 450 meters away of Dassia Bay.

We needed a hotel for one night to bookend our stay in Corfu and booked the Iolida Corfu while we were on the island. Very happy with our Genius price and savings via Booking.com. The hotel is modern (refurbished?) with good facilities. We had a standard pool view room, which was slightly bigger than the supposedly upgrade option. The room was finished to a high standard with comfortable beds and quiet but effective air conditioning. As the Iolida is situated above the main road we had a nice (partial) sea view). Would recommend asking for a 3rd floor room. We paid a little extra on the room rate for all inclusive and this was worth every penny. We had been averaging out €90-100 per day on lunch, dinner and drinks so allowing for that our stay 'cost' an additional €70 (€170 total). We were able to have lunch ahead of our room being ready and thanks to a late check out had the lunch the following day too. The food is buffet style for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and there's a wide choice of dishes on offer. Based on our experience the Iolida does cater for vegetarians (we're not, but do like the options). AI includes local booze and was fine for us as we're not fussy about branded spirits. The front desk staff were super helpful and accommodating (particularly the late check out). There's a small gym on site with cardio and weight machines (plus free weights).

Lovely resort and spotlessly clean. Apartment a little bit dated but lovely and spacious. Tiny beach with lovely swimming. Very helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

The entire settlement is suitable for vacationers.

The entire settlement is suitable for vacationers. However, there is almost no architecture here, except for a few well-maintained villas. The nearest beach is perfectly equipped, clean, offers all kinds of entertainment and a large selection of bars. I especially recommend "Leonidas grill house" near supermarket Joy. Locals eat there and it's the best recommendation. "Andreas" is also a great restaurant with fresh food right on the beach. We enjoyed cocktails and juices right after getting out of the water at the "Scheria Island" restaurant, but food there was so so... The entire settlement is suitable for vacationers. However, there is almost no architecture here, except for a few well-maintained villas. The advantage is convenient access to the center of the island, Curfu-town, even for those who do not drive. Here you can book such services as boat trips with a barbecue, visiting other beaches on the island, as well as bus trips to other settlements on the island, which will diversify your vacation. There you will find history and architecture. You will be accompanied everywhere by beautiful views and enough comfort.

The whole place is overcrowded, dirty (lots of garbage on the streets) and the buildings are built in very chaotic manner, and sometimes extremely close to each other. The beach is not to my taste - it is too shallow and crowded. Good part of the beach is occupied by the hotel, where the guards are pushing you to walk only on the sand in the evening, as the rest is their territory. No Greek feel, back in 70s tourism I guess.

Dassia is a quiet resort ( although the Malibu beach club is a parrt vibe). Most of the shops and bars are on the main road which is a five min walk from the beach. Buses can get you to Ipsos or Corfu town

Roads and sidewalks should be repaired throughout Corfu.

Roads and sidewalks should be repaired throughout Corfu. In many places, there are no sidewalks at all, it is quite dusty and there are a lot of unkempt green areas. The city of Corfu is well worth a visit, a lot of history, the old town is beautiful. We expected more real Greek music and customs in cafes and restaurants.

The road is busy and noisy, we were lucky to choose a hotel away from it. The restaurants and bars benefit from being away from the road too. The buses are very good into Corfu town which is stunning and where to get your culture fix. Tourism has well and truly taken over the rest of the island which is a bit of a shame. Disappointing that there was little wildlife although watching the swallows and swifts was a joy.

The staff were great and some were openly apologetic about facilities closing down around us due to time of year (October). Close to lovely parts of Corfu with good transport links albeit only to Corfu town. Pebble beach is close and lovely - no cowds in October. Pools also great and clean. I want to be very clear that this review is relevant to the time we visited - I can imagine that with all facilities up and running in the summer with a lively town close by then it could be, in some respects, better.

The property was literally on the beach which was lovely. We weren’t aware the pool was next door and was a beach club however this allowed us to have full access to it and the lovely loungers and lounger beds. Location was amazing, literally a 2 minute walk to grocery shop where we bought $2.50 for a bus into Corfu town.

You can go to the hotel from Corfu center by city bus #7. It takes about 45 mins. depending on the traffic. Staff is pretty cheerful and helpful. One of the best thing is you can walk to the Dassia beach in 7-8 mins. from this property, pretty close distance!. Breakfast was ok, fresh breakfast but variety is not much.
