The host was lovely and took my suitcase up to my room. He welcomed me and was very kind. The room was clean and tidy. The bed comfortable and there was a large TV with Netflix. It was nice.

The room and bathroom were very clean. I remembered to ask for a hairdryer when checking in. I booked a single room and it was fine for me. The shower cubicle, whilst okay for me, was very small. The staff on reception were very pleasant and helpful.
The Delta Hotels by Marriott Waltham Abbey is just a 20-minute drive from Stansted Airport and 30 minutes from Central London. Guests get free WiFi in the public areas.

There are no tea or coffee provided, there isn't a sofa bed it is just a mattress that was left for us under the stairs. The owners require you to leave a deposit of £300 which I still haven't had returned to my account. The pots that are provided are massive and look like they have been used in a restaurant. The toilet cistern makes a funny noise as it is filling up and this goes on all night so that we couldn't sleep. the tvs provided have no connections so effectively do not work.

Wildlife spotting was fantastic.
You can book to open water swim at the Young Mariners at Cheshunt lake, which I highly recommend.
SPOTLESS, QUIET, SAFE, FREE PARKING, spacious, 2 modern bathrooms, private garden at the back, nice modern kitchen; easy to find; just off the M25 with a nice straight route straight to central London; which is 30 min drive if you after 9am rush hour ....
Tea& Coffee available and fresh milk!! (THANKYou!!) Though shops are walking distance, minutes away.
Very convenient location and driveway outside for easy and secure parking. Large house in a quiet area. Perfect for our needs and good value for money. Owner responded quickly to messages and queries.
Loved the modern aesthetic to the hotel and the open areas/bars you could get/take drinks to. Room was amazing. Nicely finished, modern and minimalistic. Zebra riding club restaurant phenomenal!!!
