It was nicely decorated, simple but comfortable, nice and clean. It was just down from a main road but exceptionally quiet. The beds were so comfy as well andI slept better than I have in ages.

Unbeatable location, definitely a bit noisy because you’re so central but if you’re okay with that then it’s perfect. Nice having a washing machine.

Excellent house. Appears newly renovated. There's a cute and cozy garden in the back, perfect for a night cap or a morning coffee. The neighborhood is very calm. Hailee was an excellent and kind host

We stayed in Cannock simply bc it was central to all the family who live in every direction within a 20/30 minute radius. Cannock is a pretty town with all the amenities and shopping you could want and super friendly people everywhere we went. I would come back here in a heart beat next time we visit England (from Australia)

There's nothing to like, it was a horrible experience with generally poor standards and completely overpriced. The towels provided as well as the beddings which were meant to be white were more like brown in colour. The hotel's rating needs to be downgraded to reflect the standards.

Cannock is a good base for visiting the surrounding area, including Cannock Chase, and Lichfield which isn't too far away. I wouldn't recommend it as a holiday destination however ........we were visiting as a family to take our Father on a trip down memory lane. The Barns Hotel was the perfect accommodation for our needs. Very friendly, clean, excellent service and great food.

I was there two days/two nights for business.

I was there two days/two nights for business. City centre which was a 2 - 3 minute walk was lively & cosmopolitan with market stalls selling fresh produce and also clothing. My business meetings were in High Green Court in the centre of Cannock which offered a range of pleasant shops & eateries. Cannock may not have detained me long for pleasure though that is a value judgement and there appeared to be many attractions in the vicinity if railway hoarding advertising is correct. Wildlife nearby and historical sites of interest.

Everything was all right for an overnight stay Except the convector heater was not working correctly so it was a bit chilly We have stayed in that room before and it was the same then Perhaps checking by maintenance could be better

Cannock has good transport and road links, Whilst the M6 Toll is close it does give quick connection times if driving and paying the £6 is not an issue. We needed a base to stay at while travelling around N Birmingham and stayed at a self-catering cottage which was great. The huge Sainsburys and Asda stores meant it was easy to stock up cheaply and their fuel was the cheapest I've seen. I would say that if you are travelling around the area by car as we were you may want to exclude Toll roads from your satnav, or it could get costly.

We stayed after going to Alton towers then to wait to pick up my son in Birmingham the next day. We were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Rooms were really comfortable my son and I slept like babies pretty much as soon as our heads hit the pillow. The hotel was easy to get to with lots of parking. We loved the look of the hotel and being high up and able to see everything for miles around. The staff were delightful and seemed generally interested in each guests needs. Breakfast was delicious too

The room was spacious, not too warm (great in July for hotels without air conditioning), comfortable bed, bathroom looked recently redecorated. There was good wardrobe space, sufficient space to work from the room on a laptop and overall very quiet - not much noise from the road. The free Wi-Fi was very reliable. Plenty of car parking. It felt safe. Every member of staff I spoke to was friendly. Reception and corridors very tidy. Close to supermarkets and restaurants.

1st time staying at the Barns Hotel and wasn't sure what it would be like. It is so well set up with pub at front and hotel rooms at back. Bed was comfy & large. room size was good and clean. Check in was simple. What made it even better was the friendliness & cheerfulness of all the staff from reception to bar staff to waitress staff. We have family who have just moved nearby so will definitely be going back.

It is a basic hotel to put your head down for the night, really good price so I wasn’t expecting anything special, but it was comfortable enough and close enough to where I needed to be. It’s also located at services with various places to eat and grab a coffee. Free parking too which as you know is not always the case with hotels.
