Lovely location and really welcoming hosts. The information pack left was very useful. Can strongly recommend the Red Lion nearby for food. The Lodge was really clean and beautifully furnished. It's not often o sleep so well in strange beds but struggled to wake before 1000am.

Couple running this place are friendly and helpful, breakfast albeit cold food only is generous and great with homemade bread and cakes. Our room was a very good size which was perfect for getting ready for a wedding. At night it was super quiet and the bed was very comfortable resulting in a great nights sleep

The room was lovely, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Tina (the owner) was very kind and let us use her parking space, which was right outside the building. This was much more convenient for us than having to use the local nearby car park.

We were passing through very quickly due to my husband embarking on a charity bike ride from north to south Wales. Sarn y Glyn property and the surrounding area was stunning. Not too far to drive into Llanidloes. Had a coffee in the Traveller's Rest cafe which was very pleasant!

I can’t review this as my stay was a stop over on the way to Llanberis. I can say though that the mountains were not far away on my journey and the scenery changed dramatically very soon after leaving and it was stunning.
Mid Wales Arts B & B is a charming place. The welcome was warm, our room comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent and copious. Wonderful plate of mixed fresh fruit to start with.
Cathy and John are delightful and were extremely helpful when we had a medical problem.
The Gallery is full of lovely works of art, books and glass.
What’s not to like?
It is more relaxed than the formal style of a hotel but you probably wouldn’t want to stay there if that is your style.
This is an old property with great character. I stayed in the coach hose adjoining the main hotel. Room was a single. Small but comfortable with a good view. Breakfast was good. Bar was welcoming. As I was with a group they gave us a private dining room. Excellent service.
I would have preferred a cooked breakfast. As the address was Caersws, I thought the roads to where I needed to travel each day would have been easier. I am sure for people who wanted to go walking the scenery and the area was beautiful . and the hosts were very pleasant.
Charming hotel. Friendly and efficient staff. Large room with a nice modern clean bathroom. Managed to retain olde worlde charm of the old building whilst feeling clean and fresh.
