Great decor, fantastic views, excellent swimming pool. A very cool bar area for an evening drink. Free parking opposite. Close to the town and a quick walk to the centre. A beautiful and scenic area with many vineyards and wine domaines nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great stay for cyclists - even if it means you have a hilltop finish in Sancerre!! Sancerre is on the Velo Loire cycle path and this unit has a locked courtyard to secure our bikes overnight. It is a 2 floor walk up, but the view across the vines makes it totally worthwhile. The kitchen is well stocked, the coffee machine great, the water hot, the bed comfortable and the wifi is excellent. The hosts have ticked every box.

Location is on the edge of the town in easy walking distance to everything and parking was available right outside. The furnishing and styling is delightful. Cooking was well catered for.
The town was very pretty and pleasant for a stroll.
The town was very pretty and pleasant for a stroll. Most restaurants are around the square. There is a chateau which we did not have time to visit, but had an art exhibition and Friday evening events in season which I think included a dinner.

Sancerre is a beautiful old hilltop visage. It is pleasantly located allowing day trips to surrounding medieval villages and small cities such as Gion, Bourges, and Auxerre. I strongly recommend taking these day trips. The old cobblestone streets and equally ancient homes and buildings offer wonderful photo ops. I also recommend a drive out into the vineyards. Regarding “getting about in Sancerre,”. Many of the streets are quite steep, so be willing to take your time and enjoy the environment.

We only had an overnight stop in Sancerre. It was a shame as I would like to spend more time exploring the area. Sancerre is a lovely little town and worth a wander about. Great wines and nice people. Like many such towns, it does suffer from it's own fame. There are plenty of wine shops, but there appeared to be a lack of usual local retailers.

Obviously focused on wine - but Sancerre is a lovely town with beautiful views and lots of facilities for tourists to learn about Sancerre and what makes it special. Lots of the facilities are geared to include children's interest (even though it's still about wine).

Sancerre is a beautiful with loads of good wine, some nice restaurants, and a stunning scenery around it. Best suitable for couples and those who like a quiet stay. Not much disco and party around here, mostly wine tasting, history, views and good food.

Just one nights stay at The Panoramic but could have stayed longer.
The village is a steep walk up the hill from the hotel, but worth the effort to be rewarded with a good selection of restaurants, wine merchants and individual shops.
Great modern hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Le Panoramic is a very appropriate name, the views over the valley and the vines from the outdoor pool are exceptional. Sancerre is a small place so although the hotel is on the edge of town it is easy to walk to any location.
The hotel met and exceeded our expectations. Everything relating to our stay was very good. The restaurant however was exceptional. Excellent food excellent friendly and efficient service. Best food we’ve had in some time.
Everything about the place was perfect! Understated elegance. Very caring staff/owner. SO CLEAN. Such value for money - exactly where I would want to be if I had to pick a location in Sancerre!
