The location is beautiful and the accommodation (in the 3 star residence) was very good. The duplex apartment was well appointed and equipped. The bed was really comfortable.

Very responsive to our air conditioning issue with fans delivered to our room within minutes late at night & fixed the next day.

Nice breakfast buffet which we had the first morning. Great to have little kitchenette - didn't cook but had breakfast in room for rest of week.

This was our first time on this coastline, so did not know what to expect. Pornic exceeded our expectations. The harbour is surrounded by numerous restaurants and café bars with a range of prices. We found a regular venue for our coffee and tried several restaurants for evening meals. Good value for money! We found the locals very helpful. They did not find our lack of French language an inconvenience and attempted to communicate with us. We visited several of the surrounding beaches. They were not overcrowded and had good facilities.
We fell in love with this area and will definitely be back.

Nice range of beaches around town, with a lovely coastal path to get to them. Nice small town with good mix of restaurant and shopping options. Clean, friendly, well-maintained. Plenty of activities to explore in town and a bit further afield.

Maybe the town was sufferring from a little “End of Season Fatigue”, but it looked rather tired and the three meals we had there were very modest, yet expensive. Tne exact opposite of our experience further north in Concarneau and Quimper where the food was excellent and good value.

Pornic is a lovely, small port village well worth visiting...
Pornic is a lovely, small port village well worth visiting for one day. There is a good choice of restaurants near the fishing port as well as in the back streets. The restaurant Coeur de Creme was particularly good. From the fishing port, there is a lovely walk you can do along the coast to see the old fishing huts, which unfortunately are rarely used, and take a view of the island of Noirmoutier.
I was in rush to find a place in Pornic for an event. There was not too much choice so I book without real checking. And actually the 3 nights stay were wonderful. The house is very big and well located, just 5 minutes walk from a small beach and 12 min walk from train station or Pornic center. The host Stephane is ultra kind and it was a pleasure to share beers together. He even bring me on his boat for one hour tour to swim in middle of the sea one evening. A wonderful experience I will never forget!
The apartment was great, lots of space, clean and comfortable. The little kitchenette area was handy. There was a fridge to keep drinks cold and there Was some water in there when we arrived. The kids loved the pool and it stayed open until 10pm.
We were delighted with the free parking, hopefully the hotel will get an electric car charger in the future.
The staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions or needed anything..
