We were delighted with our large and interesting room which had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked well to keep us comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for shower and bath. The restaurant meal and breakfast was lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was east and we fully charged our electric car across the road overnight.
On the way back from our trip to Portugal we found Domaine Lapeze in Montcuq. If you're looking for a nice, quiet place to rest, with fantastic views of the French country side, and premium nice hospitality, look no further.
It has a great pool with a big terrace where you can enjoy a drink, the rooms are stylish and clean and has a private parking. The village Montcuq is close by so very convenient when we went for dinner in the evening.
And lets not forget wonderful hosts who make you feel at home.
We will definitely come back again!
Splendid location, most peaceful indeed, just what I needed after a rough year health wise. Excellent conversion work to the property and a pleasant journey into Montcuq for meals, next time, we'll also try Lauzerte for meals as well. A magnificent breakfast. I like very quirky properties and this is certainly an exceedingly good example. The owner showed us into her kitchen/dining room for breakfast and the overall ambience was most exciting, stone and timber with magnificent tiling throughout. Superb vistas in all directions.
Stylish en suite room with outside terrace area in lovely house and garden. Spotlessly clean and lots of thoughtful details. Great hosts-helpful and super friendly! Beautiful pool area with super views over to Montcuq which is only a short walk/cycle away. Can highly recommend.
The host was very genial, he spoke English and made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent as the host Mattieu, makes his own pizza dough and hamburger buns. The hotel decorations were tasteful and interesting.
