We had an unforgettable stay at the agritourismo Can Marquet Ibiza. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, showing great professionalism while being warm.
We would like to sincerely thank them for the special attention they gave to our engagement proposal, made on this beautiful island. The gesture of offering a bottle of cava and an aperitif made this moment even more special.
We have been coming every year for four years now, and it has truly become our corner of paradise and rest.

The beach is beautiful and I would say it's one of the less crowded ones in Ibiza. We hired a kayak and paddled around the bay. Unfortunately the huge hotel on the cliff and another one being built right next to it dominate the bay.

It is very small.
It is very small. Just 3 supermarkets and a couple of restaurants, one of which was a fish restaurant on the beach side which had a lovely location but was super expensive. We didnt go all inclusive in our hotel so the choice of dining venues was limited.. But the resort does have a mini golf! The infrastructure in Ibiza is weak, so you can only get a direct bus to Ibiza Town and Es Cana. We went for one week in May and were lucky with the weather, but one week was sufficient as there wasn't much to do in the resort itself. No nightlife whatsoever. Nice for families.

Peurto San Miguel was a lovely small cove with a beach and clear waters with a handful of restaurants and 2 supermarkets. It had lots of watersports available (reasonably priced) and sun beds and parasols (€21 for 2 beds and parasol).
Puerto de San Miguel is approximately 4kms from San Miguel which is inland. Reliable bus service to Ibiza and Es Canar (limiited timetable).
When you leave your hotel you have to walk down to the beach which means you have to walk up to your room - very steep climb so for anyone with walking difficulties it is hard work so you would need to ensure that your apartment is close to reception.

Small place but stunning beach and beautiful views. The caves were beautiful and interesting , and there are some good walks / hikes you can do. We only stayed 2 days, if staying longer than this would probably need to rent a car Or scooter as not much to do there. We were able to take the bus from Ibiza town which was quick and easy

A beautiful little spot.
A beautiful little spot. It was a joy to wake up listening to the lapping of the waves every morning. About a 30 min drive to lots of other pretty areas. Great as a base but I was glad I had a car as there is not a lot in the village.

A superb hotel, I was there in July, a week after opening. The extremely friendly staff, the superb view both from the room and from the breakfast area. The food both at dinner and at breakfast is very good with quality ingredients.
The sunsets in Cala Benirras, which is only a few minutes from the hotel, are memorable every evening.
We will definitely come back.
Overall the hotel had everything you need for a relaxing enjoyable holiday. The food selection was just right, not masses but just enough of the right things for everyone. The hotel and rooms were spotless and well look after, all the staff seemed to work hard.
The staff at Hotel Can Maries were so warm and welcoming, especially the owners Pepe and Frauke. They gave us lots of great recommendations for places to visit on the island. The Hotel itself was beautiful, especially by the pool.
Nice view, but not much beyond that.
If there was a little investment it wouldn't take much to make this quite a stylish hotel, maybe a little more pride in general wouldn't go a miss.
