Our place was clean and peaceful. The owners went out of their way to makeyou feel welcomed and comfortable. The roofrop aeea was my favorite place to end the evening drinking a glass if wine admiring the castle and the town of Almodovar. Outstanding value!

Was a beautiful quiet village with friendly people about 1/2 hour drive outside of Córdoba city. The Castillo was a must for a visit. The restaurants do not serve up food until about 8 pm so I think it is best if you have a car and can have more variety of choice for places to eat.

The villa was traditional, spacious and great bath towels. The plunge pool was very clean and good to have in the heat. Location was perfect - easy drive into Cordoba and 5 mins to Almodóvar del Rio for restaurants, supermarket and amazing medieval castle! An 8 minute drive gets you to the reservoir which was great for swimming and great restaurant at the location serving delicious food with fantastic views.
My wife and I had a lovely weekend staying in this apartment and visiting the quaint village of Almodóvar del Río. Make sure you visit the small church and the castle is well worth the visit. We also recommend having dinner at Taberna Ateneo, Pl. de la Constitución. Accomodation was expensive in Cordoba city so we were advised to stay in Almodóvar del Río and we spent the afternoon visiting Cordoba.
Beautiful and traditional hotel with clean with good sized rooms in a very romantic setting, with stunning views of the castle from the terrace on the top floor. Very comfortable, good breakfast and there is also parking nearby. Friendly hosts who took their time to show us around and tell us about its history.
Beautiful new, large pool with amazing views over Almodovar del Rio Castillo. Surrounded by olive trees with the sun setting over the groves. All newly refurbished and modern inside. Great location to visit both cordoba (magical) and Sevilla. Patricia, the host was friendly and always available.
Only 30km from Cordoba and therefore a good place to stop for a night on the way to Seville. The hotel is on the highway, but the village is 5 minutes away by car. Nice small but comfortable rooms. The staff do not actually speak English, but are friendly and willing to help.
