We have stayed in this area many times and this is without doubt the best accommodation we have stayed in. It was so well equipped, spotlessly clean with acomfortable bed and two lovely terraces. We were able to park right outside and it was a short walk to town. We would definitely like to stay here again and strongly recommend it.
The most beautiful area and easy to get to. The town is attractive with all the white buildings and central church. The long paseo has plenty of seating and at least half a dozen bar restaurants alongside.
The locals are especially friendly and helpful and prices most reasonable.
Ronda is under half an hour away and the coast only an hour by car.
We went at end of March with warm days but chilly nights.
The town does have some steep streets and our accommodation was at the top of a hill so needed some stamina to walk back after an evening meal.

A great town with a vibrant square loads of eating places in a nice safe inverter. Close enough to Rhonda to drivr to without having to suffer the crowd's and also close to the national park for walking .not bad for flying para gliding too.

Algodonales is a small, lively and friendly town.
Algodonales is a small, lively and friendly town. Lots of bars serving delicious tapas and meals. Lots of good walking in the area around the town. If you like paragliding Algodonales is the place to visit
Las Palmeras is a perfect little retreat. Just a few minutes drive from Algodonales but with a genuine feeling of isolation. There really is nothing not to like here. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Don’t be put off that the booking.com site says there is no wi-fi. There is a fast internet service and good mobile signal. We loved our stay here and hope to return soon
I booked this last minute the day before/day of arriving and they were so accommodating, and arranged for me to be picked up from the bus stop in Algodonales. The cab driver who was a friend of the owner told us the meat in the restaurant was really good and my brother concurs! This is simple in facilities, but a really affordable, friendly and beautiful place.
Excellent location, clean, tidy and plenty of space for 3 friends travelling to Algodonales for some Paragliding. Easy walk to town and very accessible. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom, and traditionally decorated to Spanish abuela standard. Couldn't have asked for more at this price range. Was perfect for our needs.
