When we were planning our holiday, accommodation was quite difficult to find. Railton was a fortunate find in a convenient location. Our room had an ensuite and we were pleased to find it had a fridge as well.
We ate at the hotel 3 times and I particularly liked the venison sausages and vegetables.

We were happy with our stay. It was perfect for 3 of us in the family room. Very close to the spirit of tasmania which was good after a very long day. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable

Easy to get to Cradle mountain although road windy but very scenic.
Food and eating places only a few minutes away. However we self catered. A great array of extra condiments available in cottage .
