Lovely 2-Bed Chalet at Robinhood Retreat Free park, hotel in Nottingham

Lovely 2-Bed Chalet at Robinhood Retreat Free park is situated in Nottingham, 28 km from Nottingham Castle, 28 km from Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, and 45 km from Lincoln University.

The chalet has all the amenities for a one or two night stay, overall it was well presented and clean. Having said that the double bed had animal or human hair on the sheets despite appearing clean.

Bunny Lodge - Garden view & free parking, hotel in Nottingham

Bunny Lodge - Garden view & free parking, a property with a garden and a bar, is set in Plumtree, 14 km from Nottingham Castle, 14 km from National Ice Centre, as well as 26 km from Donington Park.

Myself and my wife booked a two night stay at Bunny Lodge for a wedding we were attending locally. From the ease of the driveway parking to the cleanliness and comfort of the small but perfectly formed lodgings, we were impressed from the off. Modern, but homely throughout, this place was a great find and I would highly recommend it for anyone in search of a short stay in the Keyworth/Ruddington area. There’s a small kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, kettle, plates and cutlery, the bathroom is immaculately clean with a very good shower (this is something I am generally picky about) and the living/bedroom space was modern, comfortable and came with very good wifi. There’s plenty of added touches too - hairdryer and straighteners, spare tooth brushes and phone chargers… the place has been really well thought out and is a credit to the lovely host. 5 stars for price, location, facilities and management.

Easy no nonsense booking and communication. Simple key retrieval. Very nice and clean apartment which was just what we needed very near to Dubrek where I was playing a concert. Aldi was also very useful for tour supplies. Bathroom excellent, very high standard shower, and bed very comfortable. We were in Apt 6 and it was nice, quiet and secluded. Exactly what we needed.

Looking for a cabin?
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The staff was nice to let us use the facilities after we checked out. We wanted to swim the day before and they shut for kids at 6.30 but they were nice to let us come back the next day to swim.

The location was a 5 minute walk from the train station and 15 minute walk from the city. The bed was comfortable and shower was powerful. There was a show on at the venue across the canal however with the window shut it blocked lots of the noise so it was barely noticeable.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. The room designs were super cute I loved the beach hut theme for mine. The location in the city centre meant that I could get to motorpoint arena in a 15 minute walk

Fantastic setting for hotel in beautiful parkland, well placed for a walk around the lakes after breakfast. Our room at the front of the hotel overlooked the garden fountains and the racecourse. Room was very comfortable with plenty of light from the floor to ceiling windows, wooden shutters if you need to close out the lights at night. Staff and service, very good. Good for a day at the races or an evening at the greyhound racing.

My daughter and I were very happy with our Garden room and the facilities. Very comfy, spacious, just perfect. My 18 year old son and his friend were in a beach hut which didn't have a window and they are unused to that. That's the only reason for scoring superb instead of excellent. We would all stay again. Very clean, staff really lovely and helpful. Great place, good atmosphere, close to everything. Really enjoyed our stay.

The age and style. Lovely old building with lots of character. Loved the old wooden shutters on the windows and the very high ceilings and windows.
