My review is based on the fact that we had booked a place to stay in Shepton Mallet but although confirmed the property had no record of our booking so finding Miltons' on a Saturday evening was a godsend. The owner was very welcoming and helpful recommending the Plough where we had an excellent Hake and chips, they offer a good range of local beers. The quiet room offered a comfortable bed and a hot shower.
Property was spotlessly clean and so welcoming. There were lots of lovely little touches around the room and building. Pool was deserted and crystal Clear
The cabin had everything we needed. It was very secluded and we fell asleep watching the sunset over the fields. Has microwave, small gas stove and tea and coffee facilities. The bed whilst small for 2 average size persons was very warm and comfortable
Perfect location beside a field, lots of wildlife including deer.
The tents were great - clean, spacious, comfortable beds.
Flexible check-in and out Good hot shower Nice big room Great location for wedding close by Generous breakfast for £10 and made adaptions to make it vegetarian
The site was so peaceful and well looked after, the safari tents were something else, immaculate, lots of space, nice fire. Will def be back for another stay
The location was stunning, a beautiful little hamlet. Lovely friendly staff, good range of food for breakfast. Vegetarian options. Location was excellent for us as we were visiting Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park. Great family room with a big comfy bed and a hot shower
The room we had in the village was very comfortable. The view over the lake from our veranda was wonderful with the swans and ducks and other birds and wildlife. The setting and surroundings were fabulous.
