Fire pit dinner and just a small whisky with new friends made a wonderful stop off on the the NC500. Saw birds of prey and stags rutting

Loch Eyre Shepherd Hut has views overlooking Loch Eyre, is situated in 7 miles from Portree, This shepherd hut has access to a private toilet in the guest house, 30 metres away. Very cute stay close to good hikes. Cozy and the private bathroom was more than expected with a shower and inside the main building

Skye Eco Bells is an Eco Glamping site on the Isle of Skye. The 3 Cabins are located in an off-grid site with individual fire pits and 2 acres woodland. EVERYTHING. Keep in mind I love to camp and this provided that experience including a lack of electricity, Wi-Fi, campfire, common kitchen, and a beautiful host family.

Keene - Bell Tent, a property with a garden, is located in Dundee, 15 km from Discovery Point, 35 km from St Andrews University, as well as 36 km from Lunan Bay. This place had a lovely back drop from the tent and some great local walks too with Wildlife to the plenty. The staff were lovely and engaging and made sure we were okay and comfortable, the bed mattress is thin but is perfect I’d say for most people, we loved the bbq and the kitchen area which came with utensils and fridge access. Shower facilities and toilets were also great with even the option of an outdoor shower if you so wish. We will definitely be back.

Located in Pitlochry, in a historic building, 23 km from Castle Menzies, Tomnauld Farm is a luxury tent with a garden and barbecue facilities. Everything! Amazing views, facilities were spotless clean and the hosts were welcoming (including the goats). We would 100% recommend to anyone thats appreciates nice walks and we had a good time exploring the farm. If you have a dog, this place is paradise! great location also, just less than 15 minutes away from Pitlochry where you will find a grocery shop, restaurants and shops. If you plan on visiting the highlands, do not miss staying at Tomnauld Farm! It is, by far, our highlight in our roadtrip in Scotland.

Thainstone dome is situated in Lochcarron. With free private parking, the property is 33 km from Eilean Donan Castle and 37 km from Kyle of Lochalsh. Absolutely love staying here! it was our second time and we will definitely be back again. Such a beautiful location, so peaceful and has everything you need! Hosts are lovely and welcoming! Thanks for a great stay! Made friends with the pigs too who enjoyed a good belly rub 🥰

Cobleland Campsite, a property with a garden, is set in Gartmore, 19 km from Loch Katrine, 29 km from Mugdock Country Park, as well as 37 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens. We stayed in the Safari Tents and oh my, it was one of the best places we've stayed. The tents were fully equipped! The beds were SO comfortable! The kitchen bit had EVERYTHING you'd need! The toilets and showers were first class! Always so so clean!

Situated in Shieldaig in the Highlands region, Beinn Shieldaig Yurt features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Our first impressions were how cosy the Yurt looked and it really was as some of the nights were quite stormy and rainy but we felt very safe. Everything is very thoughtfully and tastefully put together. Each Yurt has it’s own personal shower/toilet unit which was great and just a short walk away. Our hosts Kenneth and Lisa were very thoughtful and helpful. They were always available if there were any questions.
