The pod was perfect for what we were looking for. Somewhere cheap but classy to stay whilst attending Cheltenham Festival. The Pod was nice and comfortable and would be a great place to go for a romantic retreat with a partner. You are in the middle of nowhere so if you do book for the same reason to attend the festival, you really have to be careful to organise transport well in advance as you will get caught out otherwise. Great place, beautiful countryside, would fully recommend.

Location, size of lodge and verandah, dog friendly
Fabulous location high on Cleeve Hill with stunning views from room and from beer garden. Room and bathroom immaculately clean. Although a little dated the room had everything, tea coffee, hairdryer, iron and board and a super comfortable bed. Also a powerful hot shower in bathroom. Nice bar area with great beer garden, good selection of beers etc and very good food. Very friendly staff. Would gladly stay again.
A comfortable room with everything you would expect, comfortable bed, hot shower, TV, teas and coffee. Been here a fair few times this year and each time it gets better. Under new management and the staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Far enough from town to be away from the noise and close enough to see the sights. I only had breakfast once and it was well presented and tasted good.
Our third time staying in as many years, still an absolutely fantastic B&B and great value. Love everything from the location, the generous check-in and out times, the amazing breakfasts, all round friendly service, pleasant and well presented rooms, fabulous sunsets and local amenities - plus, being only a short walk into Charlbury to catch the bus that stops right outside diddly squat farm shop is a bonus. Our doggo loves staying too, so many walks both onsite and close by.
Although small, the cabin is well equipped and comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen, nice bed with a good mattress, effective air con. Location is very convenient for exploring Painswick and surroundings. It is very peaceful, if the weather is good, you can sit outside or open the foldable glass doors and listen to the birds singing. Laurie Lee Wildlife Way passes by the property and there is a laminated map provided in the cabin, which was nice.
