Nestled in a quint part of Tamborine Mountain, but near enough to places of interests. The tents are self sufficient and very clean. The owners are on site and are responsive to our enquiries. We met Pam and she was so nice and has been generous with recommendations on places to go and eat around Tamborine Mountain. It has been an amazing experience for me and my family (including 2 young boys).

Purling Brook Falls Gwongorella is a tranquil rainforest retreat located at the edge of Springbrook National park. The location is stunning, in the middle of Springbrook, on a 2 min walk from Purlingbrook Falls lookout. Ebony, the host, is really lovely and very helpful. The yurt is amazing, very clean and comfortable, and is set on a little creek. There's a fire pit to make your own camp fire at night. It's really your own little sanctuary for a relaxed getaway.

Featuring mountain views, Wild Nature Lodge, Mareeba Wetlands provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 48 km from Curtain Fig National Park. For us this was a fantastic experience. I was birdwatching through Queensland and this accommodation is in effect in the middle of a top quality wetland reserve. There are only three units in this private wetland and when we stayed we were the only people there. The units were excellent and the owners provided an excellent basket with fresh bread, eggs, coffee etc. The guests have the full use of what must have previously been the wetland reception area and it has a fully fitted, top quality kitchen. It was a surreal experience staying for three days on our own in a top quality wetland but an unforgetable one.

Rangelands Outback Camp is located in Winton and offers a garden and a bar. Guests can benefit from a balcony and an outdoor fireplace. Amazing views, the staff. Colin was a gentlemen from the get go. Peter and Seline where amazing hosts. Made us feel so comfortable. Peters cooking was a once in a life time experience. Loved the attention to detail. 5 star quality experience.

Serenità Stanthorpe in Severnlea provides adults-only accommodation with an open-air bath, a garden and a terrace. There is a private entrance at the luxury tent for the convenience of those who stay.... What’s not to like this is a real retreat Wendy does an amazing job it has every little convenience, stunning inside & out. They have thought of everything all the little extras just made it a prefect weekend away & waking up to the beautiful cows in the fields perfect. Cannot fault this beautiful place
