The White Horse is a really lovely place to stay. The old building is full of character and the rooms are well furnished / spacious. Great espresso machine. Dog friendly and welcoming. Friendly and helpful staff and good food. We plan to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay within the peaceful grounds of Chichester Cathedral. The location is serene and ideal for a relaxing getaway, with all the essentials thoughtfully provided. Superbly well equipped property, lots of thoughtful touches, everything needed was provided and more, historical building, excellent location in centre of Midhurst but still quiet, cheap public carpark very nearby.
I travel to Goodwood at least 2 times a year for work and always struggled with accommodation - not anymore! I just loved every single thing about the Halfway Bridge!
I have mentioned I wanted a quiet room as I work long hours and they were thoughtful to put me in a little charming cottage, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing!
I can't recommend it enough - and will definitely be coming back soon
