On this small-group morning or afternoon tour, you’ll spend some time at the elaborate underground network of the Chu Chi Tunnels to learn about its lengthy history and significance to the city. You’ll watch a 3D movie about the biggest American ground operation of the Vietnam War. In the underground tunnels, you’ll gain insights into how the complex worked and how life was in the tunnels from 1961 to 1972. You’ll have the chance to try a small hidden entrance in the tunnel to understand how people used to move around in there. Throughout the maze of tunnels, there will be storage facilities, trap doors, weapons factories, command centers and field hospitals.
You’ll get to taste a popular food during the war days called cassava. For an additional charge, you’ll have the option to fire an M16 rifle at a shooting site.
