In the past, scientists, poets, and writers called Khudjant as The Crown of the World“. It is one of the oldest cities of Central Asia. The largest and most populated city in Northern Tadjikistan. The city lies along both banks of the Syr Darya (river) at the entrance to the fertile and heavily populated Fergana Valley.
