On this guided walking tour, you’ll visit some of the most haunted sites in downtown Manteo.
You’ll visit the historical Pioneer Theatre, where your guide will tell you about ghost stories that haunt the site. The tour will also take you to the dock of the Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse. Here, you’ll learn about the eerie legend of Theodosia Burr. You’ll also catch a glimpse of Roanoke Island Inn, as your guide tells you about the story of Manteo’s former postmaster believed to haunt the site.
To complete your ghost tour experience, you’ll have a chance to use an electromagnetic field or EMF detector, typically used in paranormal investigation television shows to find ghosts.
