This self-driving tour will allow you to explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with the aid of an app. Audio stories about diverse ecosystems, native American legends and local flora and fauna will play as you drive along the Appalachian Mountains in the park. The driving route is flexible too, giving you the opportunity to focus on scenic nature views.
The app will point out famous attractions en route, including Rainbow Falls, Clingmans Dome, Ely's Mill and more. You can also learn about the Cherokee tribe, their history and ancestral tales during the tour.

After the booking, you will receive an email with a link to the tour provider's app and a unique password to access the tour within the app. The app functions as a guide, an audio tour and a map, all-in-one. Most stops along the tour have animated videos allowing you to visualise what you cannot see, such as snapshots from different centuries or interior rooms.
