A Navajo Nation Park permit fee of USD 8 per person must be paid in cash on arrival.
The permit fee is valid for one day at any of the Navajo Tribal Parks.
Please be aware that it is very dry in the desert region; remember to stay hydrated.
Climate-appropriate clothing and sun cream are recommended.
Please note that the following bag types are not permitted in the canyon: backpacks, binocular cases, camera bags, clear backpacks, tinted plastic bags, fanny packs, purses, oversize totes, printed pattern plastic bags and mesh bags.
