With this ticket, you'll have the opportunity to gain entry into the Hagia Sophia – a mosque and former church dating back to the 6th century, when Istanbul was known as Constantinople. During your visit, you'll be able to take a closer look at elements of the structure's ornate interior, which features a massive central dome, carvings, columns, Byzantine mosaics and religious artefacts.

Hagia Sophia does not have any closed days. However, it does remain close to non-worshippers during prayer hours and the noon prayers on Fridays.
