This small-group tour will take you from Bangkok to the ruins of the 14th-century city of Ayutthaya.
Once you reach the UNESCO-listed Ayutthaya Historical Park, you’ll first visit the Bang Pa-In Royal Palace. Accompanied by a guide, you’ll get the chance to gain insights into Ayutthaya’s history and learn about the Thai kings who formerly ruled from here.
You’ll then discover the ruins of the Wat Mahathat and the Wat Chaiwatthanaram Buddhist temples. You’ll be able to see ancient religious images and statues. You’ll also have the opportunity to stop at the Wat Phra Si Sanphet and explore the remains of the 15th-century pagodas.
