This is a rare and meaningful experience. Normally, the reindeer roam freely in the tundra during winter, surviving on what nature provides. But after a dry summer, a rainy autumn, and a long winter ahead, the conditions have become tough. That’s why we’ve decided to step in and provide extra food to help them through the cold months.
Your journey starts with a scenic minibus ride from Kiruna, where we’ll head towards Övre-Soppero - a beautiful Sámi village nestled in the Arctic wilderness. Thanks to the polar night, this tour is a combo experience – Aurora, Sámi culture & reindeers.
When we reach Övre-Soppero, you’ll be able to interact and feed the reindeers, learning about their way of life and the challenges they face in the harsh winter. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to help the reindeer while soaking in the stunning beauty of the Arctic.
