On this tour, you will have the chance to explore the Palace of the Parliament â Europe's largest parliament building and one of the projects of the infamous Romanian political leader, Nicolae CeauÈescu. The construction of the colossal building started in 1984 and ended in 1997, long after the fall of the regime. It's the heaviest building in the world and boasts over 1,000 rooms decorated with a million cubic metres of marble.
On this tour, your guide will take you past the lines and straight into the palace, where you'll explore the grand halls and learn more about the fascinating history behind this project. The tour will end on the second floor, where you'll see a panoramic view of Bucharest and Unirii Boulevard from CeauÈescu's balcony.
