During this full-day trip, you'll explore highlights of the Algarve region including its largest city, Faro. You'll begin in Faro, with free time to discover the Old Town at your own pace, including sights like the iconic cathedral. Your next stop will be Olhão, a village on the banks of the Ria Formosa. Here, you'll visit the fish market, which also sells artisanal products like honey, jams, cakes and liqueurs, then have a chance to go shopping or get lunch.
The second part of the tour will take you to Tavira. You'll see key landmarks here and visit the castle for a stroll along its ramparts. You'll end your experience at a local church for a live Fado performance, a melancholic music genre that's considered a national treasure.
