On this tour, you'll get a chance to watch whales and dolphins swimming in their natural habitat. You'll board a boat at Lajes do Pico harbor and head out into the North Atlantic Ocean. Along the way, a marine biologist will give you some general instructions and brief you on the different species of whales and dolphins found in the area.
It might about three hours to search for the marine mammals, after which you may spot around thirty different types of dolphins and whales – including blue whales, common whales and sardine whales.
