This tour will allow you to experience one of the most popular attractions in Poland – the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the world's oldest operating salt mines.

During the experience, you'll descend 135 metres underground and follow your guide along a three-kilometre path, which winds its way past chapels, statues and an underground lake. Along the way, your guide will share interesting facts about Poland's centuries-long history of salt mining.

    Comfortable footwear is recommended.

    Participants should expect to climb approximately 800 steps during the course of the tour. There is a lift, but it is only used to reach the surface from the bottom of the mine.

    Please bring warm clothing. The temperature underground is 14–16 degrees Celsius.

    Smoking and the use of open fire is strictly forbidden within the mine.

    Animals, pushchairs and luggage larger than 30 cm x 20 cm x 10 cm are not permitted.
