Duration: 10 hours

On this tour, you’ll leave the city behind and head to the postcard-perfect town of Zakopane at the foot of the Tatras Mountains. A local guide will lead you around as you take in the alpine-like landscape and fairy-tale homes inspired by Polish folklore.

You’ll pass iconic sites like the Pod Jedlami villa and the charming log-built Jaszczurówka Chapel. In the oldest part of the town, you’ll see traditional mountaineer cottages interspersed with ash trees. You’ll also wander the Krupówki promenade before taking the funicular to the peak of the Gubałówka mountain ridge.

At the summit, you’ll have incredible views and the opportunity to taste oscypek, a smoky cheese made from highland sheep’s milk and exclusive to the Tatras Mountains. Your adventure will end with a visit to the Zakopane cemetery and the historic wooden Church of Our Lady of Czestochowa.
