On this private half-day tour, you’ll wander the city and get a sense of the country’s history and culture. The tour will start from the Grand Mosque of Oman that will be open from 08:00-11:00 daily except on Fridays and holidays. From here, you’ll drive through the ministries and embassies area to the fish market. At the market, you’ll find numerous local people buying and selling fresh fish and vegetables.
A short drive away, you’ll visit the country’s largest traditional souq – Murtrah Souq. You’ll continue to the Bait Al Zubair Museum to understand the Omani culture and history more. In Old Muscat, you’ll find Al Alam Palace where you’ll walk in the palace yard. Behind the palace, you’ll see the twin forts of Jalali and Mirani that were built in the 16th-century.
