On this guided tour, you will ride a Segway around Devonport with four different routes to choose from.
The ‘Taste of Segway’ will take you to the Devonport waterfront and Cheltenham Beach for a sweeping view of Rangitoto Island, then through the back streets where you will find charming Victorian villas. Meanwhile, the ‘Family Fun’ features a shorter course, which will take you along the Devonport waterfront and around Waitemata Harbour for scenic views.
The ‘Historic North Head’ will let you ride to the summit of North Head. Here, you will get to stroll through the tunnels and bunkers and see the ‘Disappearing Gun’ up close while learning about the ‘Russian scare’ in the 1880s. Lastly, the ‘Mount Victoria’ will give you the chance to explore the highest volcanic summit on Auckland’s North Shore while your guide tells you about the secrets of the vibrant mushroom field.
