On this full-day tour, you'll hike to the crater of Mount Tarawera before whitewater rafting on the Kaituna River. While you hike, you can enjoy panoramic views of a landscape unique to New Zealand. With the help of expert rafting guides, who'll offer instruction and encouragement, you'll take on 14 rapids, plus the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world, the 23-feet tall Tutea Falls.

The minimum age for participating in this tour is 13 years.

This tour can accommodate a maximum of 15 participants.

No experience is necessary.

Please bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.

Sturdy walking shoes, a weather-appropriate jacket, a hat, gloves, a scarf and a bottle of water are recommended for the crater hike.
