On this full-day tour, you’ll explore the Milford Sound region in depth, taking in its exceptional landscapes and natural beauty. You’ll set out from Te Anau with a drive through the Fiordland National Park in a glass-roofed coach. Here, you’ll see dense indigenous bush, rugged peaks, waterfalls, the ancient alpine forest of the Eglinton Valley and the glassy Mirror Lakes where you’ll stop to take photos.
After passing the Upper Hollyford and Cleddau valleys, Christie Falls and the Homer Tunnel, you’ll descend into Milford Sound for a cruise. During your voyage, you’ll get a close look at natural wonders like the sheer Mitre Peak and thundering waterfalls. You’ll also look out for wildlife like dolphins, seals and penguins and tuck into a picnic on board.
