With this experience, you’ll get to go on a 1.5-hour cruise on Lake Taupō and view the Ngātoroirangi Māori Rock Carvings in Taupō.
After boarding the boat, you’ll begin sailing along the lake. On board, you can enjoy a muffin and a hot drink or purchase food and drinks from the bar. During the tour, you’ll also stop to view the Ngātoroirangi Māori Rock Carvings carved by artist Matahi Whakataka Brightwell.
Additionally, children on the tour will be provided with colouring books and given a chance to steer the boat or participate in a treasure hunt on board.

Please note that in case of inclement weather conditions, it may not be possible to view the Ngātoroirangi Māori Rock Carvings. Please note that this decision is at the discretion of the skipper, keeping in mind the safety of participants on board.
Please note that if the skipper decides that the visit to Ngātoroirangi Māori Rock Carvings is unsafe, you will be notified accordingly prior to departure and will be provided with an opportunity to disembark. In such situations, you will either be provided with an alternative date or a refund. However, if you choose not to disembark, no refund will be provided, even if the visit to the Ngātoroirangi Māori Rock Carvings is cancelled.
