On this guided tour, youâll travel away from the illuminated streets of Tromso in search of the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights.
After meeting your guide, youâll travel to an area selected as the best location from which to view the auroras, based on current forecasts and live camera feeds. Once on-site, youâll be able to learn some photography tips from your guide to help you capture the lights. Youâll also have the opportunity to enjoy hot drinks and cookies to help keep warm while waiting to catch a sight of the auroras.

Please note that the aurora is a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
This tour runs in all weather conditions, since the northern lights can be visible even on very cloudy, rainy or snowy nights.
The tour can be cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions. In such situations, you will be provided with a full refund.
The tour provider offers a 50% discount on your next aurora tour if you do not see the aurora on your first tour. This can only be claimed at the tour provider's office. It is subject to the availability of the day you choose to try again. If there are no available seats left, then you will be booked on another day.
You cannot request a refund for the '50% discount offer' in case there are no available seats or in case you cannot take a tour on another day. Please note that tours are often fully booked from 19 Decemberâ9 January and from 5â25 February.
