On this tour, you’ll depart from Kota Kinabalu to be guests at the Mari Mari Cultural Village where you’ll meet indigenous people from Sabah. Upon arrival, you’ll be briefed on the village’s rules before entering. After being greeted by the Chief, you’ll partake in a custom welcome ceremony.
Afterwards, you’ll walk the suspension bridge to get to Mari Mari. Here you’ll find traditions and cultures from the five ethnic tribes of Dusun, Rungus, Murut, Bajau and Lundayeh. During the experience, you'll participate in customary activities and dances to traditional music. You’ll be exposed to the ancestral histories of each tribe in the village and observe native rituals. Lunch will be served inside Mari Mari before saying goodbye and returning to your accommodations.
