On this captivating cruise, you’ll glide along the river, spotting the diverse wildlife and landscapes of the Klias Forest Reserve. The drive to the reserve will be around two hours, and you’ll take scenic coastal roads and pass picturesque villages.
At the Klias River jetty, you’ll have tea and coffee with Malay cakes and biscuits before boarding the boat. During your cruise, you’ll see an abundance of local animals including proboscis monkeys, monitor lizards, crocodiles and birdlife. After your tour, you’ll relax on the jetty and enjoy a buffet spread of traditional Malay dishes while the resident fireflies begin to illuminate the riverbanks with their hypnotic lights.
