At the start of this private full-day tour, your driver will pick you up in Sandakan and take you to have lunch in the town. After lunch, you will head to Gomantong Cave, an elaborate cave system known for its collection of edible bird nests in the heart of the Gomantong Rainforest Reserve.
In the afternoon, you’ll travel to the Kinabatangan River, where you will cruise along the river and search for primate species such as the endemic Proboscis Monkey as well as birds and other wildlife. After the cruise, you’ll stop at the lodge for dinner before heading back to Sandakan.
